First person vs third person accounts.
While a lot of the research I could find seemed to be specifically about certain situations, I did find some articles that suggested my instinct that first person narrative is more powerful and/or builds more trust was right. You can find them here, here and here.

True Stories Told Live, my live Storytelling show.
With thanks to those who asked: you can find out more here:

Next show is Monday May 27th @ The Garrison (free entry, just show up)

(4) Inspired to sharpen up your presentations and storytelling? Here’s how to take the next step

Want to make sure you engage your audience (even when you’re online), whether it’s three people on your team, or an audience of 300? Want to them on your side from the first words you say, or inspire them to feel passionate about the work you want them to do?

I would love – LOVE – to help you.

Have a presentation or keynote coming up, want me to present to your team — or just know you’d love to get better at storytelling with my help?

Let’s chat! We can jump on the phone – click HERE to book in a call, or just email me on hello@yesyesmarsha.com
