What YOU have to offer big shots in your industry (VIDEO)

Let’s say there’s someone you’re desperate to grab the attention of.
They get 1000s of emails every day. Yours needs to stand out.

You could send them a giant teddy bear, holding a heart, that says,

I BEARY LOVE YOU

Or…. You could ADD VALUE to them, in one of the ways I talk about in this video.

Yes, even you, my currently small-fry-compared-to-them-friend.

Click play below to see it.

Also, there’s a bit of a Christmas carol. Plus you’ll meet a couple of shady characters (that look quite familiar….).

If you want to impress someone you that don’t know very well

– you need to ADD VALUE to them

The science I mention can be found here.

If you missed the last few posts on emailing big shots (that I mentioned) you can find them here, here and here.

And while we’re on the subject of adding value: if you’re a coach, freelancer or entrepreneur who needs to move your business or career up a level – or there’s just one person YOU want to grab the attention of – I’d love to help you.

Click here to find out how, and to schedule a FREE, no obligation call with me.

Over To You

Have you ever done something for someone – with no expectations – then found it’s come back to you?
Or maybe someone unexpectedly did something for you – and you felt moved to help them back?

Let me know – or just tell me what you thought of the video (and whether there should have been more wigs) in the comments below.

If you enjoyed this video, and you think it could add value to someone you know, share it by clicking on the round buttons below or to the left.

Thanks,

You rule!

xx (Yes Yes) Marsha

Marsha!!!!!!!!! I am smiling ear to ear, I absolutely love your video and your “friends”, especially the ukulele instructor. It was tight, well paced, full of great information and I can totally see why it took you forever. That’s a pretty steep learning curve but now you know how to do it. I want more videos! Love your voice, love seeing your friendly face and super duper helpful info. Yay Marsha!

How I’ve missed YYM during my recent digital diet! I actually didn’t think it was possible for you to be MORE charming than I already believed you to be, but I was clearly wrong! Wonderful video and well worth all of your hard work.

Great tips as well. This is something I really struggle with – how can I possibly add value to a big shot?? And I have a huge fear of coming off as a brown noser, so I say nothing. I particularly like what you said about being specific. I think that is really key for not sounding like every other person who contacts them and just says offers up a generic “pve your work.” Very helpful!

For some reason, I’ve only just seen this comment!

Dude, SO MANY PEOPLE fear coming off as brown nosing and so stay quiet. The good thing about this is that, if you DO make the effort to get in touch with them, you’ll stand out a mile!

That was the most entertaining while being very seriously informational video I believe I have ever seen. Suppose I never thought about reaching out to a “mentor/hero” that I feel like I “know” but wouldn’t know me if I met them on the street. Guess I always thought I wouldn’t want to be as a “groupie” or a stalker. Thanks so much for such excellent information- look forward to learning more from you in the 30 day Challenge.

Sandra! What lovely words, thank you SO much!!

I think giving someone a genuine compliment – especially a “You transformed me” one is never stalkerish, and only adds more good into the world.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Lynne – the answer for me was:
      (a) daydream about it for a while
      (b) read and watch EVERY tutorial by Holly Sugrue (who’s also in the SYB Challenge!), Share Ross and Sarah Michelle Brown
      (c) If you want to do cutaways and costume changes, brace yourself for HOURS of editing!

Let me know how it goes! (and thanks :) )
